How do I dial out?
|
|
|
|
To dial another number on the property, in any of the buildings, just dial the last 4 digits - so for example to dial the leasing office you just need to dial 7300, or to dial us you just need to dial 7310. To dial any other local number in the (919) are code, you must dial all ten digits starting with the 919. To dial long distance or internationally, you must activate Long Distace. Contact Customer service for help with this.

How much does Telephone service cost?

You receive a phone line with local and toll-free calling and caller-id as part of your lease. You can, if you wish, upgrade your phone service to add Long Distance dialing, Voice mail and other features. Contact Customer service to add these features to your phone service.

How much does long distance cost?
|
|
|
|
All national long distance, regional toll and In-state calls are charged at 5.9 cents a minute, with per second billing after the first minute. There are no monthly minimums or additional charges.

How much do International calls cost?

How do I use call forwarding?
|
|
|
|
(Call forwarding is an extra cost feature) You can set a call forward for all calls (that is, all calls to your number will be forwarded to another number), or to forward all calls to Voicemail if you subscibe to the Voicemail service. These features are activated and deactivated from your phone and are provided at no cost (remember that if you forward calls to a non local number you will be paying long distance charges for the forwarded call). How do I use voicemail?
|

(Voicemail is an extra cost feature) You access voicemail from your own phone by dialing ‘*0#’. From any other phone, dial your own number, and when your voice message is playing, dial ‘#’,enter your password and then press ‘*’. For full use details, see the technical support pages.

Can I use a different long distance provider?
|
|
|
|
No, If you use the NCCampus.net phone system, you can only use NCCampus.net for long distance. However, you can use calling cards with toll-free or local access numbers without difficulty.
